Lauren & Tavea are friends, creatives, moms of two, and self-appointed paper snobs. Lauren is a Latina from the Bronx and Tavea is a Black girl from Los Angeles. These two besties managed to create a nostalgic brand that embodies their unique experiences as people of color.  They created Culture Paper Co. from a joke in a grocery store parking lot. The creation story is a funny one (as all things seem to be with Lauren & Tavea) and the result is a wrapping paper line for the culture.

Culture Paper Co. is

• For all the people who drive to their corporate jobs rapping along to a Cash Money record.
• For the girl who’s studying for the BAR exam while swag surfin’.
• And for everyone who has ever felt different because their “culture” is cool enough for them but unpolished for us.

The culture is all about duality. We can be both. We are both professional & ratchet, boujee & thrifty, and articulate & lingo.
